Celebrating the nBS Foundation's first anniversary
The nBS Foundation recently marked its first anniversary. Over the past year, the foundation has awarded £2.8 million to 89 projects, significantly impacting communities in the Midlands and Yorkshire.
This funding has been instrumental in supporting local charities, creating opportunities for young people, and promoting sustainability by reducing carbon footprints. The nBS Foundation continues to drive positive change and make a lasting impact in the regions it serves.
What’s more, nBS has recently announced it is adding an extra £5 million of support to the foundation, bringing its total funding to £10 million.
Supporting communities affected by fuel poverty
Earlier this year, nBS donated £100,000 to help LASER Energy provide direct support to local food banks across the country. More recently, nBS worked with LASER Energy to run a Community Day aimed at bringing together communities affected by fuel poverty.
The event, held in Chatham, Kent, was a celebration of connection, care, and community spirit.
From providing energy- saving advice to organising fun activities like glitter tattoos and a bouncy castle, the Community Day was all about making a tangible difference while fostering a sense of togetherness among residents.
Longstanding support for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) UK
For over a decade, nBS has been a proud supporter of RMHC UK, offering care, fundraising, and volunteer assistance.
This year, nBS continued its commitment to RMHC by engaging in various activities such as painting spring-themed window displays, deep-cleaning communal areas, and hosting fundraising events like samosa sales and bingo card sales. The ongoing support to RMHC reflects nBS's dedication to giving back and making a meaningful contribution to society
