
PRICE ALERT: E.ON Next cuts rates ahead of price cap change
- E.ON Next cuts rate on its 12m and 24m fixed tariffs, as well as Next Gust 12m and Next Free Boiler Cover 14m.
- Changes come ahead of Ofgem’s new Energy Price Cap taking effect tomorrow [1 July].
E.ON Next has repriced a wide range of tariffs ahead of the new Energy Price Cap. From tomorrow, the annual cost for a typical household, using electricity and gas, on a Standard Variable Tariff (SVT) will be £1,720.
Tariff Detail:
E.ON Next’s Fixed 12m v66 is now priced at £1,589 (previously £1,660) annually for a typical household, with a £50 per fuel exit fee – saving customers £131 against the new price cap.
In addition, E.ON Next Fixed 24m v32 is now priced at £1,689 (previously £1,725) annually for a typical household, with a £100 per fuel exit fee – saving customers £31 against the new price cap.
The E.ON Next Gust 12m v30 tariff is now be priced at £1,699 (previously £1,727) annually for a typical household, with a £50 per fuel exit fee – saving customers £21 against the new price cap.
The Next Free Boiler Cover Fixed 14m v6 tariff* is now priced at £1,678 (previously £1,721) annually for a typical household, with a £50 per fuel exit fee – saving customers £42 against the new price cap.
Prices and comparisons quoted are correct at time of issue and based on an average dual fuel bill using OFGEMs definitions of medium use typical domestic consumption values of 2700kWh for electricity and 11500kWh for gas. Exit fees and T&Cs apply.
